As an Research Data Warehouse analyst, Alina Dunbar works with investigators and study teams to figure out how to answer tricky research questions using electronic medical record data. She has worked as a business analyst for a private pharmaceutical company; a data analyst and account manager for an intellectual property software provider; in medical student education for the Department of Pediatrics; and as an ad hoc vineyard gardener during a year-long working holiday in New Zealand. Alina holds an MPH in Epidemiology from OHSU and a BA in Anthropology and International Studies from Northwestern University. When not grappling with SQL queries at work, she enjoys moderately competitive 5k races, fixing up her 1920s Tudor, and, most importantly, snuggling with her miniature Australian Shepherd, Hadley.
