Biography

I’m Alyssa Wright, a physician associate specializing in treating sprains, strains, respiratory symptoms and GI/GU symptoms.

For over ten years, I’ve enjoyed meeting the same-day medical needs of my community. I’ve worked in various acute care settings, including the emergency department, free-standing urgent care, and mobile urgent care. It’s been incredibly rewarding to address my patients’ acute concerns as they arise.

I practice evidence-based medicine with a patient-centered focus. I believe in shared decision-making, working closely with my patients to assess their concerns and develop treatment plans that align with both medical evidence and their preferences.

Originally from the Midwest, I spent most of my formative years in Indiana, where I met my husband, Zach, during undergraduate school. After graduating as a PA, I spent time in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina, enjoying activities like mountain biking, bluegrass concerts, and exploring breweries in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We later moved to Oregon and have loved exploring the diverse terrains of the Pacific Northwest, especially our day trips to the Coast, the Gorge, or Willamette Valley wineries.

I’m a mother to one daughter and two shorthaired pointers. They keep me busy but bring lots of laughs and good times. We all love the outdoors and staying physically active, whether camping in our RV, paddle boarding, hiking to waterfalls, or biking. In the winter, we enjoy cross-country skiing with our 2-year-old in tow. I recently completed my first triathlon and have set goals to do more!
