Biography

Amy joined the Center for Health Systems Effectiveness in 2025 to lead and support the development of state policy evaluations. She enjoys managing complex evaluation and research projects and mentoring project teams.

Amy holds a PhD in Health Services Research from the University of Washington, Seattle and specialized in evaluative sciences and statistics and behavioral health care access and quality. Before coming to CHSE, Amy worked at Mathematica, where she led and collaborated on mixed methods projects related to state Medicaid waivers and mental health and substance use disorder services. She also previously worked in local government as an epidemiologist and evaluator with King County, Washington, where she leveraged her quantitative analyst background to lead program evaluations and create accessible data products for learning and improvement.
