Biography

Dr. Benson specializes in helping pregnant patients navigate high-risk pregnancies and is interested in health equity. She enjoys caring for all types of high-risk pregnancies, but particularly in treating maternal illnesses in pregnancy such as cardiac, rheumatic and hematologic disorders. She enjoys educating patients on evidence-based guidelines and helping patients develop a care plan that is unique and acceptable to their values. 

Outside of work, Dr. Benson enjoys spending time with her husband and their two little girls, hiking, skiing and camping. She also enjoys beekeeping and gardening.
