Biography
Dr. Sallay received his BA in Chemistry from Miami University and his medical degree from St. Louis University. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University followed by fellowship in General Internal Medicine at the Portland Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He is a founding member of the OHSU Hospitalist Program and has previously served as the course co-director for the Principles of Clinical Medicine course in the School of Medicine. He was a leader in implementing the EpicCare electronic health record for OHSU Hospital and continues as the Medical Director for the Clinical Informatics Department. He enjoys bicycling in all forms, whitewater kayaking and rafting, gardening for food, home charcuterie, and travel (mostly with his bike).
