Biography

Dr. Benjamin Schneider is a family physician. Dr. Schneider enjoys caring for entire families and provides inpatient and outpatient care to adults and children. He sees his family physician role as a patient adviser and educator. That means meeting people where they are and recommending the best care possible. Whether the issue is disease prevention, health maintenance, management of an acute problem or a chronic disease, Dr. Schneider helps patients understand and make choices that are right for them.

Dr. Schneider enjoys the cognitive aspects of medicine as well as minor procedures. He spends much of his time engaged in medical student education. He often has students working with him in the clinic. When he’s not seeing patients, he serves as an assistant dean for student affairs in the OHSU School of Medicine, helping prepare the next generation of physicians.

In his leisure time, he enjoys being with his family and exploring the natural wonders Oregon has to offer.
