Biography

Dr. Brian Garvey is a family physician that also specializes in preventive medicine. He believes that a holistic approach to medicine is vital to people's health and wellness. For this reason, he is committed to leaving time in the patient-doctor relationship for stories and humor. He is especially grateful to be able to care for children and multiple generations of the same family. He enjoys speaking conversational Spanish with his patients. 

Dr. Garvey is an Oregon native, a lifelong Blazers fan, and the proud father of two children. In addition to clinical medicine, he is an active researcher and educator in OHSU’s Department of Family Medicine.
