Bruce A. Warden, Pharm.D., BCPS, CLS, FNLA, FASPC (he/him)
Biography
I am a cardiovascular pharmacy specialist who treats patients with cardiovascular disease, hypercholesterolemia, hypertension, diabetes and adiposity at the Center for Preventive Cardiology at the Knight Cardiovascular Institute.
I help patients manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions and associated risk factors, care transitions, pharmacotherapy optimization, cost minimization and patient and provider education. My clinical and research interests include atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease risk reduction through cardiometabolic optimization, with a focus in lipid management
I enjoy hands-on patient care, collaborating closely with patients and providers to enhance medication access, minimize adverse effects and achieve each patient’s cardiovascular goals.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family (wife, two children and dog), bodybuilding and fishing.
