Carrie Milligan, M.D. (she/her)

Biography

Dr. Milligan is a psychiatrist at Student Health.   

She earned a B.S. in biology from the University of Chicago, and following a year of lab work in Hyde Park, the native Hoosier attended Indiana University School of Medicine. She completed residency at the Harvard-Longwood Psychiatry Residency Training Program at Harvard Medical School and remained on the faculty there for one year, serving as an inpatient attending. 

Gradually moving west, Dr. Milligan returned to Chicago practicing in a clinic focused on women's mental health and then moved to Portland. 

Before joining Student Health, she spent eight years as an emergency room consultant and providing outpatient care. 

Her interests include women's mental health, mood and anxiety disorders, psychopharmacology, and cognitive behavioral therapy. She is delighted to have the opportunity to work with students and postdocs in the OHSU community.
