Charles Boardman practices in the GI and Hepatology Section of the Portland VA Medical Center.  His academic interests center on clinical reasoning, implicit bias, simulation, and medical decision analysis.  He has taught graduate nursing at OHSU (in the FNP and DNP programs) since 2012.  

Beyond his clinical and academic work, Charles likes to hang out with his wife and kids, surf, rock climb, bike, go on walks around the city, read books, and try to keep growing as a person on earth.
