Biography
Christina is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). As a LMFT Christina was trained to treat individuals, couples, and families, and that training will inform her work at Student Health and Wellness working with individual and couples.
Christina has a wide variety of clinical experience, mostly acquired while serving the Anishinaabe people of Gaa-waabaabiganikaag/ White Earth Nation. Christina acknowledges and honors the impact of those who've shared their life's journey with her.
Passionate about holistic wellness, Christina’s curiosity centers on nurturing the body's and nervous system's wellbeing. Her integrative approach encompasses utilizing behavioral skills, solution-focused brief therapy, narrative therapy, Sensorimotor psychotherapy, mindfulness practices, IFS (Internal Family Systems), and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), tailored to individual client needs and preferences. Some of her clinical focus includes assisting those navigating complex trauma, racial trauma, anxiety, couples' conflicts, gender concerns, depression, ADHD, and/or other neurodivergent identities.
Having joined Student Health and Wellness in July 2023, Christina is thankful, and eager to provide support where needed.
