Biography

Colin Gershon, N.P., M.P.H., joined OHSU Emergency Department in 2017 after serving for five years with the Indian Health Service on the Navajo reservation in Arizona. Mr. Gershon was the first nurse practitioner to serve as Chief of Staff of an Indian Health Service hospital. A former Peace Corps volunteer, Colin speaks both Swahili and French. Outside of the hospital, Colin enjoys hiking with his two dogs and volunteering at the humane society.
