Biography

Dr. Daniel Young is a member of the Abdominal and Cardiothoracic Imaging sections in the OHSU Department of Radiology. He obtained his medical education at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. Dr. Young completed his radiology residency at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine (MIR) with a mini-fellowship in cardiothoracic imaging. He also completed his Advanced Abdominal Imaging Fellowship at MIR.

In addition to clinical radiology, Dr. Young has an interest in healthcare economics, advocacy, and education. He is an active member of the American College of Radiology currently serving on the Economics Committee on Body Imaging and has previously served as a member of the American Board of Radiology’s Initial Certification Advisory Committee. 

Dr. Young is originally from neighboring California having grown up in the SF Bay Area. He is excited to return to the West Coast and join the faculty at OHSU.
