Biography
Darya Budkina joins CEDAR as a Scientist. Previously she was a part of the Single Molecule Biophotonics group at PacBio where she contributed to the development and optimization of crucial chemistry required to increase the throughput of the previous generation of long-read sequencing platform. At CEDAR, Darya will apply microscopy and spectroscopy techniques for the detection and analysis of cancer cells. She received her Ph.D. at Bowling Green State University, Ohio with a specialization in photochemistry and photophysics followed by a postdoc at the University of Geneva, Switzerland. Darya enjoys literature, travel, and learning about other cultures. Darya is looking forward to starting her new adventure at CEDAR where she can apply her experience and passion to contribute to the success of the CEDAR team.
