Dr. Qian’s laboratory studies the molecular and cellular mechanisms of cancer biology and therapeutic response and resistance. The specific research interests include the interplay of oncogenic signaling with the hypoxia response pathways, energy metabolisms of cancer and TME cells, epigenetic and transcriptional regulations of gene expressions, and mapping spatial transcriptomes at single-cell resolution.
