Biography

I am an anesthesiologist who treats adults with perioperative conditions. I provide pre-operative evaluation, intraoperative care and post-operative care for my patients.

I focus on how to make patients feel safe and comfortable during surgery and medical procedures.

Outside of my work at OHSU, I enjoy watching sports, hiking/exercising, traveling and spending time with my family.

I am from Buffalo, NY, and attended the University at Buffalo, where I completed a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering, focusing on hemodynamics and vascular biomechanics.

I later attended the M.D./Ph.D. Program at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY, where my Ph.D. dissertation focused on the role of stem cells in breast cancer metastasis.

I completed my residency in Anesthesiology at OHSU and a research fellowship in biomedical/tissue engineering as part of OHSU's Oregon Scholars Program.
