Biography

Delaney is a graduate student in Dr. Stuart Ibsen's lab, working with cancer biomarker collection via DEP chips. She is also interested in engineering extracellular vesicles for targeted drug delivery. Delaney has a B.S. in biochemistry and molecular biology from Oregon State University, where she researched methods for using siRNA-loaded nanoparticles to fight cancer. Alongside her studies, she highly values STEM outreach work and opportunities to use science communication skills to make research more accessible.
