Biography
Dr. Barbon, born to a Russian mother and a Cuban father, grew up in Miami, Florida where he spent his adolescence studying Fine Arts. He then transitioned toward medicine and obtained undergraduate degrees in Healthcare Business Administration and Nursing at the University of Miami. He continued his medical education at the Frank Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University, where he also contributed as a medical illustrator, publishing the collaborative pocket textbook, Netter’s Clinical Skills. Following graduation, he completed an internship in Surgery at Stamford Hospital with an emphasis in Plastic and Vascular Surgery. Subsequently, Dr. Barbon finished his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Oregon Health and Science University, followed by a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention. He will soon embark on his career as a private-practice radiologist at The Radiology Specialists of the Northwest where he will continue to serve his fellow Portland Community. In his spare time, Dr. Barbon loves skiing, hiking, painting, gardening, and exploring Portland’s culinary scene.
