Biography
Dr. Elizabeth Collumb is a board-certified general adult psychiatrist. At OHSU, she sees outpatients at the faculty practice and supervises residents in the training clinic. Her clinical interests include psychodynamic psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, transcranial magnetic stimulation, and the delivery of mental health services to healthcare professionals.
Prior to joining OHSU, Dr. Collumb was on the faculty of Eastern Virginia Medical School. At EVMS, she saw patients and supervised residents in the outpatient clinic, as well as directing EVMS' transcranial magnetic stimulation program. She served as the attending and course director for the Emergency Psychiatry resident and medical student rotations at Norfolk General Hospital.
In addition to providing clinical supervision to trainees, Dr. Collumb was active in curriculum development at EVMS, and taught didactic course modules in Forensic Psychiatry, Medical Ethics, and Transition to Practice. She won the departmental award for excellence in teaching in 2020 and 2022, as well as the "Thinking Outside the Box" award for curriculum innovation (2020) and the President's Achievement Award for her teamwork on the Student Affairs Committee (2020). She also served as the Education Officer for the Hampton Veterans Administration Medical Center, overseeing all health professions education programs at that hospital facility and its associated outpatient sites.
