Biography
Dr. Yue specializes caring for children in the Pediatric Emergency Department. She is an advocate for children and their families during times of crises, whether it is a fever in the middle of the night, a playground injury or a bad tummy ache.
Dr. Yue's research interests involve minimizing radiation exposure in the evaluation of children in the Emergency Department. Specifically, she investigated the use of Quick-Brain Magnetic Resonance Imaging for the detection of shunt malfunction in children with VP shunts. Dr. Yue is also interested in emergency medicine residency education and simulation education.
When she is not working in the Pediatric Emergency Department or teaching medical students and residents, Dr. Yue enjoys spending time exploring the Pacific Northwest. She also enjoys spending time with family and teaching her two young sons to speak Cantonese and instilling in them her love of food and Michigan sports.
