Faraz Ghoddusi, M.D. (he/him)
- Assistant Professor of Family Medicine, School of Medicine
Biography
Before joining OHSU, Dr. Faraz Ghoddusi was the chief medical information officer and an active-duty physician with the U.S. Air Force (where he was given the call sign “Unicorn”). He and his family moved around from base to base until finally settling here in Oregon.
Although Dr. Ghoddusi’s primary role at OHSU is with the Information Technology Group (ITG), his passion for patient care continues to bring him back to the clinic. He was steered toward family medicine because of the relationships he gets to build with his patients and their families. He has dedicated his career to addressing health care disparities through research and by working with state and federal leadership in establishing policies to do so.
When not in clinic or with the ITG, Dr. Ghoddusi enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. And dance parties... he likes dance parties.
