Biography
I am a pediatric nephrologist specializing in kidney disease, pediatric kidney transplantation, and hypertension.
My research focuses on nephrotic syndrome, hypertension, and pediatric kidney transplantation.
I completed my pediatric nephrology fellowship at the University of Michigan before leading kidney transplant programs at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Michigan and Phoenix Children’s Hospital. I served as Medical Director of Pediatric Kidney Transplantation from 2015 to 2024. In April 2024, I joined OHSU as the Medical Director of Pediatric Kidney Transplantation, and I am excited to serve children and families in Oregon and beyond.
Beyond patient care, I am deeply involved in national leadership. I serve as Secretary of the American Society of Pediatric Nephrology (ASPN) and will transition to president-elect and president in the coming years. I have also served on the Board of Directors for the Improving Renal Outcomes Collaborative (IROC) and the National Kidney Foundation-Arizona.
