Biography

Haley Manella, M.D., M.B.A. joined the Department of Emergency Medicine as faculty in 2021. She is an Assistant Professor and is the Medical Director of Performance Improvement for Graduate Medical Education and Quality Medical Director of the Adult Emergency Department. She educates housestaff in health systems science and mentors those working on quality improvement projects. She oversees the continuous quality improvement program in the Department of Emergency Medicine and organizes the quality improvement and patient safety education for the Emergency Medicine residency program. She is interested in the delivery of high-quality care, service excellence, and clinical operations. Outside of medicine, Dr. Manella enjoys traveling, cooking, trying new restaurants, and training her feisty dog.
