Hanna Gustafsson, Ph.D.

Biography

Dr. Gustafsson is a principal investigator in the Prenatal Environment and Child Health (PEACH) Laboratory. Her research examines the impact of prenatal and early life stress on children’s risk for psychopathology with an emphasis on the psychobiological mechanisms through which this risk is conveyed. She has a particular interest in understanding the impact of perinatal mental health on families with young children, including the ways in which family functioning can exacerbate or ameliorate early environmental risk.
