Biography

Dr. Baines provides care for children and adolescents with a wide variety of endocrinology needs. She cares for youth with type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Harold Schnitzer Diabetes Health Center.  Her research interests include improving gender affirming care for transgender and gender diverse youth. Dr. Baines is also active in teaching and education, and serves as the rotation director for medical students on the pediatric endocrinology rotation. In her spare time, Dr. Baines enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and two cats. She enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest and traveling beyond to scuba dive in some warmer waters.
