Biography
Dr. Stiefel grew up in Coeur d’Alene, ID, and received her undergraduate degree from Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA. She attended medical school at the University of Washington, and completed her ophthalmology residency followed by an ocular pathology fellowship at OHSU Casey Eye Institute. She joined the faculty in 2018. In addition to her clinical and surgical role as a comprehensive ophthalmologist in Vancouver, WA, she enjoys analyzing ocular specimens and teaching residents in the Ocular Pathology lab.
Dr. Stiefel has participated in medical volunteer work in Mexico, Ecuador, and Guatemala, including service trips to perform cataract surgery for underserved patients.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and young son, cooking, practicing photography, and exploring the beautiful outdoor playground of the Pacific Northwest.
