Biography

Holly Houston is a certified nurse-midwife. She specializes in promotion of physiologic labor and birth, and participates in shared decision making with patients in a trauma informed manner. She also focuses on effective postpartum care for patients, including support for human milk feeding.

Her research interests include health care providers' knowledge, skill and confidence in providing human milk feeding support, human milk feeding support for racially, ethnically, and gender diverse families, and the impacts of bias on clinical decision-making.
