Irene Foley, M.D. (she/her)
Biography
Dr Foley moved to Portland in 2022 after beginning her career on the east coast. While working in bench research at the Vaccine Research Center with the NIH, she became interested in medicine. She graduated with her MD at EVMS in Norfolk Virginia, then moved on to Virginia Commonwealth University for internal medicine residency. Dr Foley remained as an attending upon graduating from residency, first as a clinical hospitalist, then as an academic hospitalist to focus more on teaching. She attended on the VCU procedure team, and actively participated in both medical student and resident education.
