Jackson Wong, M.D.

Biography
Dr. Jackson Wong was born and raised in Portland, OR. After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon, he attended OHSU School of Medicine where he was introduced to the field of psychiatry. He recently completed his residency training at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City before returning to Portland to work at Unity.
His professional areas of interest include the neurobiology of psychiatric illness, intercultural issues within medicine and psychiatry, and the integration of psychotherapy in inpatient settings. He is passionate about medical education and enjoys teaching medical students and trainees. During residency, he spent additional training time in geriatric psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and teaching medical student didactic sessions.
Outside of work, he enjoys many different outdoor activities, reading, gardening, cooking, and playing games.
