Biography

Dr. Knapp is a general adult psychiatrist who specializes in reproductive psychiatry and sexual medicine. She completed her residency at OHSU. Prior to her training in psychiatry, she completed two years of training in obstetrics and gynecology. During this period, she delivered babies and performed many types of gynecological and obstetrical surgeries. This background provided her with invaluable insights into the intersection of reproductive life events and mental health. Dr. Knapp transitioned into psychiatry driven by the profound commitment to supporting the mental wellness of individuals during sensitive reproductive and sexual health phases.

Outside of work, Dr. Knapp enjoys spending time with her family, including trips to the zoo and the science museum, and watching “The Great British Bake Off.”
