Jamie Endicott, Ph.D. (she/her)
- Computational Biologist 2, CEDAR, OHSU Knight Cancer Institute, School of Medicine
Biography
Jamie Endicott received her PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Van Andel Institute Graduate School in 2022, where she worked on creating and experimentally validating an 'epigenetic clock' that estimates cell divisions. Following her PhD, Jamie joined biotechnology startup Altos Labs. At Altos, Jamie worked as a hybrid biological-computational scientist within the Institute of Computation, a group focused on modeling the biology of aging using traditional bioinformatic tools and machine learning techniques. Her research interests lie at the intersection of cancer and aging, in particular the erosion of heterochromatin and epigenetic instability which contribute to cancer risk.
