Biography
Originally from San Diego, Dr. Otter completed undergraduate studies at the University of California, Irvine, followed by medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Throughout her time in undergrad and prior to matriculating at Columbia she was a professional dancer, performing works in California, NYC, and abroad. Dr. Otter completed her residency in emergency medicine at Temple University Hospital in North Philadelphia in 2018, followed by a Medical Toxicology fellowship at University of California, San Diego. She currently works in a community emergency department in Portland, in addition to joining the Toxicology group at OHSU. Professional interests include addiction medicine, toxic plants, and generally interesting/esoteric tox cases. Outside of work, she enjoys painting/drawing/lino block printing, running in the woods, and rock climbing with her husband.
