Jennie Davis, Ph.D., R.D.N. (she/her)

Biography

Jennie joined the Center for Health Systems Effectiveness in 2025. She works as a qualitative and mixed-methods researcher on CHSE’s Medicaid evaluation projects and is currently managing the evaluation of Oregon Project Independence-Medicaid. Her interests include improving access to resources that reduce the risk of chronic health conditions and improve quality of life. She holds a Ph.D. in Nutritional Biology with a designated emphasis in Global Nutrition from the Institute for Global Nutrition at the University of California, Davis, and is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.

Before coming to CHSE, she was a postdoctoral scholar working on projects that included a food-fortification randomized controlled-trial in Ghana, and analyses of U.S. policies for efficacy and equity to reduce consumption of sugar- and non-sugar- sweetened beverages.
