Biography
Dr. Joe M. Skariah is a family medicine doctor. He provides comprehensive primary care, including obstetric and pediatric care. He also provides manual medicine as a treatment and believes in holistic care.
In search of a clinic that would allow him to pursue his interests in rural medicine and academics, he joined OHSU Family Medicine at Scappoose in 2012. His patients and the staff make it a joy for him to come to work. Dr. Skariah is also director of the Portland Family Medicine residency program at OHSU.
Dr. Skariah is originally from Garland, Texas. He is married with two children and a canine companion, Maggie. He can sing all the songs from Disney’s “Frozen” in Spanish.
