Jordan Devereaux is a medicinal chemist/chemical biologist who has been at OHSU in various capacities since 2006. While his focus is on synthesizing molecules for customers at OHSU and beyond, he also has a strong background in protein biochemistry that informs his ability to design compounds and interpret data. Projects with the Core have ranged from development of a novel inhibitor for the mitochrondrial PTP to optimizing the synthesis of the protein labeling compounds OPP/PhAcOPP to labeling the antibiotic meropenem with a Cy5 dye.
