Biography
Judy Borgen, M.S.N., R.N., C.N.E. is an assistant professor of clinical nursing at the OHSU School of Nursing, Monmouth Campus. Judy teaches across all years of the OHSU SoN’s undergraduate curriculum, currently in Chronic Illness and End-of-life, Population Health Practice, Health Promotion, and Leadership.
Judy’s scholarly work supports student engagement and transition into clinical practice for the undergraduate in palliative care and end-of-life. Her academic focus addresses psychological safety in high-emotion simulation. She has presented at the regional, national, and international levels.
Judy joined OHSU in 2013, bringing over 35 years of clinical practice within leadership and management, acute care in the perioperative setting, primary care, and nursing education. Judy enjoys reading, gardening, hiking, camping, and spending time with her family in Disneyland in her spare time.
