Kaitlin Greene (she/her)
Biography
Kaitlin Greene is the Central Oregon Community Research Liaison for OHSU's Community Outreach, Research, and Engagement team. She is based at the Community Research Hub in Bend and serves Crook, Deschutes, and Jefferson counties. As a liaison, Kaitlin fosters community-academic relationships to improve the health and wellbeing of Central Oregonians and to build capacity for data-informed decision making. She works to connect community organizations with OHSU programs to provide research technical assistance, training, and expertise that meet their needs. It is exciting work to support the translation of research into action within communities across the region!
Kaitlin has lived in Bend for the last 10 years. She is passionate about public health initiatives that consider how our built environments influence health behaviors and is an advocate for infrastructure that prioritizes people who walk, bike, and roll. Outside of work activities, you can find Kaitlin running, hiking, biking, and generally immersing in the natural wonders of Oregon.
