Biography

Kate Bowie graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor's degrees in chemical engineering and German. She spent two years at the University of Chicago studying glucocorticoid receptor antagonism in the context of breast cancer. Kate is in CEDAR and is co-mentored by Dr. Lisa Karstens and Dr. Sadik Esener. Her focus is the influence of the gut microbiome on immunotherapy response specific to prostate cancer.
