Biography
Katherine (Katie) Barton grew up in Montana. After undergrad at Carleton College she was fortunate to get support through the WICHE program to go to medical school at OHSU. She explored the country during training — residency at the University of Vermont in Burlington, VT, and fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Prior to coming to OHSU she was an assistant professor of pediatric radiology and the assistant radiology residency program director at UC Davis in Sacramento, CA. Katie's professional interests include radiology education and neonatal imaging. When she’s not working, you’ll likely find Katie with her husband Justin, jogging or biking around Portland, hiking the cascades, SUPing, or watching movies at the Laurelhurst theater.
