Biography
Dr. Bensching received her bachelor's degree in biological sciences from Stanford University in 1984. She worked with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Tacoma, Washington, from 1984 to 1985. She then received her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1989. She completed her internal medicine residency at OHSU in 1992 and was chief medical resident at OHSU from 1992 to 1993. Bensching was part of the legacy internal medicine residency teaching faculty from 1993 to 2006 and was in private practice with Mulliken Medican Center from 1996 to 1999. Bensching is board certified in internal medicine and her clinical focus is women's health.
