Biography

Kenneth Riley is a matriculating Biomedical Engineering PhD student joining Dr. Thuy Ngo's lab at CEDAR. Ken recently graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Physics and has worked as a lab assistant at Mayo Clinic studying three-dimensional ultrastructure of sensory hearing cells to investigate hearing loss. At CEDAR, Ken will focus on liquid biopsy assay development related to cell-free RNA and extracellular vesicle analysis. In his free time, Ken loves playing basketball and tennis, going trout fishing, and training his dog Huxley. He is eager to begin learning and contributing to CEDAR's mission.
