Biography
I am a critical care cardiologist who treats adult patients with life-threatening cardiovascular conditions, including:
In addition to my work in the cardiovascular ICU, I also see patients in a post-ICU clinic, where I focus on their physical, cognitive, and mental health recovery following critical cardiac illness.
Some of the treatments I provide include invasive and noninvasive hemodynamic monitoring, mechanical ventilation, airway management and post-cardiac surgery care.
My approach to patient care is patient-centered. I emphasize compassionate care, evidence-based practices and shared decision-making to ensure the highest quality outcomes. I truly enjoy the dynamic and collaborative environment of cardiac critical care. It’s a privilege to work alongside exceptional colleagues and serve the diverse patient population of Oregon.
Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors snowboarding, surfing and hiking. I also enjoy traveling with my wife to explore different cultures and cuisines. Our golden retriever often joins us on these adventures.
