Biography

I am thrilled to work with students interested in maximizing fitness and symptom control in people with chronic pain, such as fibromyalgia. I have practiced in the rheumatology clinic at Oregon Health & Science University and the Frida Center for Fibromyalgia evaluating and treating people with fibromyalgia. I am currently the president of the Fibromyalgia Information Foundation (www.myalgia.com), a non-profit organization whose aim for the past three decades has been to disseminate scientifically sound fibromyalgia data. I teach primarily in the family nurse practitioner, D.N.P., Ph.D. and post-doctoral programs.
