Biography
Dr. Bajema is an infectious disease-trained clinician and epidemiologist. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she served as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer in the Respiratory Diseases Branch at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She currently supports antimicrobial stewardship at the Portland VA and is a co-PI on a VA Cooperative Studies Program investigating real-world effectiveness of vaccines and therapies for respiratory viruses: Study Details | COVID-19 Pharmacotherapy Effectiveness in the VA Healthcare System | ClinicalTrials.gov.
Dr. Bajema enjoys exploring the trails and mountains of the Pacific Northwest, rain or shine.
