Biography
Lara Clayton has been with OHSU since 2013 and focuses on a broad range of adult and pediatric dermatological conditions including rashes, acne, neoplasms and eczema. Her special interests include atopic dermatitis and the early detection of skin cancers, including melanoma.
Having over 10 years of experience in pediatric dermatology, Ms Clayton participates in the academic teaching of Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner students at OHSU. She is a member of the general dermatology and pediatric dermatology teams and enjoys caring for the entire family's skin.
Ms Clayton is passionate about providing top-quality patient care and uses her knowledge, professionalism and compassion to effectively treat various dermatological ailments. She builds relationships with her patients by listening to their needs and communicating effective treatment plans.
After receiving her Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) from the University of Florida in 2007, Ms. Clayton trained in pediatric dermatology at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, California. She prides herself in her continued dedication to study and learning.
Ms. Clayton provides care for patients primarily at OHSU Dermatology locations in Lake Oswego, Beaverton, and the Center for Health and Healing. In her free time, Lara enjoys skiing, hiking, running, mountain biking and spending time with her family.
