Liliana L. Will, D.D.S., M.P.H. (She/Her)
Biography
After several years of private dentistry practice with a specialization in Endodontics, Liliana Will entered Portland State University where she earned a Master’s Degree in Public Health. In addition to dentistry, her professional career includes work with institutes at Portland State University and Oregon Heath Science University. There she did outreach and research on disease prevention and workplace health projects serving elderly and the region’s Latino community. Liliana has over 12 years experience working in Public Health. This includes over five years working in the non-profit sector as a specialist in program management focusing on youth and families. She has a strong background building partnership with local agencies, universities, community organizations, and the health industry to serve needy families. Recently Liliana was prolific over a five year period in non-profit leadership of outreach and trainings to prevent child abuse and neglect. She worked closely with volunteers and community partners locally and internationally to deliver a dynamic curriculum and plan the logistics for workshops educating over 2,000 individuals on how to prevent, recognize and respond responsibly to child maltreatment. She has also been an independent contractor, helping organizations grow, manage, and develop programs. She is now excited to be back at OHSU. Liliana is the Community Research Associate at The Knight Cancer Research Institute and at the Outreach Clinical & Translational Research Institute. She works as a liaison in the Portland Metro Area.
