Biography
Lyndsey Miller, Ph.D., R.N. is Assistant Professor at the OHSU School of Nursing, and a Research Investigator with the Oregon Center on Aging & Technology. Dr. Miller's research examines social and relationship factors that impact the autonomy of the person living with dementia, care-related strain in their family care partners, and the health and well-being of the care dyad. Dr. Miller joined OHSU in 2018 after completing an interdisciplinary post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Utah.
In her current research projects (R01AG080644; K01059839; R01AG077472) with the Oregon Center for Aging & Technology, Dr. Miller is evaluating remote digital assessments of social and physical engagement to more objectively and continuously understand its impact on everyday function in older adult couples, risk of developing dementia, and stress in dementia caregivers.
