Malia graduated from Oregon State University in 2018 with a B.S. degree in zoology and a minor in chemistry. She has worked in a mammalogy lab at OSU, where she performed DNA extractions. She is also fascinated with biology, mycology, geology, and botany. She is very excited about expanding her skills in immunology and joining CEDAR.
