Marigold comes from a little town just outside Ashland Oregon. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from Oregon State University after deciding to study the life sciences and research cancer and other human diseases. She enjoys reading, fishing, and gardening in her free time. As a scientist she's had the opportunity to participate in many different projects in many disparate fields: food microbiology, forestry, wildlife biology, protein biophysics, and infectious disease in non-human primates. She's loved every field she's worked in but found her home in the lab.
