Biography

I am a family medicine doctor who treats patients of all ages. I focus on preventive care, chronic diseases and pregnancy. I provide my patients with chronic disease management, preventive counseling, pediatric and prenatal care and acute illness treatment.

I believe relationships are at the heart of the care I provide. Getting to know my patients and their lives outside my clinic allows me to provide better care, making my job much more fun! I love family medicine because it allows me to care for all ages and stages of life, including pregnancy.

Growing up in a rural community introduced me to the barriers many communities face in accessing high-quality health care. Everyone has the right to high-quality care regardless of race, ethnicity, preferred language, gender identity or socioeconomic status. Improving the health care system to better care for everyone is one of my biggest passions.

Outside work, I love outdoor activities like hiking, running, biking and backpacking. I'm also training my 4-year-old Paint gelding, Ricky Ricardo.
